so the next method I tried was copying the files to the main FNIS directory. I had tried the vortex install method, before the install, my character was doing idle animations, afterwards my chracters is sometimes skyrim version of T-posing or vanilla idle animations (doing nothing). exe in the main FNIS tools folder the creature pack didn't show up during the process that it does there. Follow whatever instruction the mod offers for installation order (if necessary) I don't recall if that's a one file install or whether you have to use the files tab and then pick and choose which parts to install or which K-resolution or what not, but the principle is the same. But if the file(s) is/are hosted by Nexus, you *should be able to just install via the Nexus interface. To install using Vortex I used 'install from file' and then browsed to the folder where I'd archived it on my hard drive. Afaik, when I installed the creature pack, I had downloaded the mod and archived it locally.
